Fox River Preserve, Port Barrington, Illinois on September 25, 2010 check-in at 10:00 a.m.

General Information:
You must also register for the Rendezvous so we can plan for our picnic dinner.
The distance of the walk is two miles.
You must send in your registration information by September 1 since we must pre-order t-shirts.
Please bring all pledge sheets and payments to the Rendezvous.
Checks should be made out to MWBCR or Midwest Border Collie Rescue.
Participants must be at least 16 years old or with an adult to participate.
All participants raising at least $50 or more will receive a new 2010 Rendezvous t-shirt.
A $50 merchandise credit for our exclusive MWBCR store will be given to the person who raises the most pledges.

For Participating Dogs:
All dogs must remain leashed (6’ maximum length) at all times. No flexi leashes.
You must pick up after your dog. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
All dogs must be current on their vaccinations, be in good health and wear rabies and id tags on their collar.
No female dogs in heat allowed.
Puppies under six months of age or older dogs may walk a shorter distance if desired.
No small breed dogs that may be traumatized by herding dogs such as border collies.

Satellite Walkers:
If you live too far away to participate or won’t be in town for the date, please join our list of satellite participants. Simply send in your form with the words “Satellite Walker” on the top, collect your pledges, walk with your dog in your neighborhood and send in the pledges to the address listed on the form. You can receive your Rendezvous original t-shirt if you collect $50 or more in pledges. Our dogs will appreciate your dedication!

Waiver (please read):
By participating in this event I assume responsibility for any and all risks associated with my participation. I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, release and discharge Midwest Border Collie Rescue, its volunteers, and any other parties involved in this event from any claims or liability of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in this event, even though the liability may arise out of negligence on the part of the parties named in this waiver. I also submit that all animals in my care that are participating in this event are current on their rabies vaccinations and are in good health. Midwest Border Collie Rescue reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog that is deemed unfit or unsafe to participate.
You will be required to sign a waiver at the check-in desk.
